WELCOME TO WALEIGH ON THE WEB

THIS IS THE UNOFFICIAL
RALEIGH INTERNATIONAL
BELIZE 98B SITE

Raleigh International is a yoof brainwashing do-goody outfit based in London. Their mission statement claims to benefit young people through their work on constructive projects in challenging environments. But we all know that's twaddle.
It's actually about Plebs, Porridge and Personality Disorders.
If you really want to know about Raleigh, their official website can be found
here

This site was created and is occasionally maintained by Dominic Hamilton, journalist on 98B and honorary staffy

I'm back from Chile where I had a wonderful time. You can bore yourself to delete buttons by reading my account of my trip here, if you didn't get it by email...

For your information, an article about Raleigh as an alternative way of travelling appeared in the Travel section of The Independent on Sunday on March 21st. I was very pleased with it, and it seems like the Powers That Be at Raleigh were too. Other big news, BBC Wildlife magazine will publish another article about Raleigh in their July issue. It's pretty Belizy, so check it out. Their readership is about 1.2 million in 85 countries...They're also going to run a travel piece on northern Chilean Patagonia in the autumn.

An article of mine about Bruce Chatwin's Patagonia appeared in the Winter issue of South American Explorer in the US.

The New Law Journal article about Raleigh appeared in November, but it's here too cos you can't find copies for lurv nor cashish...

Garrick has started an amazingly efficient way of updating the 98B staff email list. Just go
here and give your VISA details and I'll send you a postcard from Kuala Lumpur, promise.

IF YOU WANT COPIES OF THE COLOUR PHOTOS, I CAN LASER COPY THEM (£2.80 FOR FOUR) OR PRINT THE SLIDES (£2 EACH FOR 5"X7")

if you scan photos and send them via EMAIL in .jpeg, .tif or .gif format I can put them up, or simply send them to me and it'll be the last you see of 'em.
